Hi all, how are you?
I have an issue with our SQL 2008 R2 Express Sharepoint Database, in that it is Full; 10GB & 0MB available. The first thoughts would be either to Shrink the Database, Re-Index to remove Empty Pages or Delete some content and then Re-Index to Empty Pages.
I first of all attempted a DB Shrink, but to no avail as there is no available space (0MB). I then removed 500MB of Images from our Social Pages, naively thinking this would free up some space, but as the Pages still have references contained within they are not relinquishing their available space. I have attempted to Re-Index, however, I see an error message suggesting the 'PRIMARY' filesgroup is full, which is what I would expect if the the DB is at 0MB availability.
I have considered the options, or lack of, and I have concluded that I only have 2 available.
