SQL authentication through IIS on another domain

Hi,

I've this situation: Webserver is installed in domain A. Databaseserver 1 is installed in domain A. Databaseserver 2 is installed in domain B.

Webserver and databaseservers are Windows 2008 R2. IIS is installed and used on the Webserver for ASP.net applications. MS SQL 2008 R2 is installed on the databaseservers.

The webapplications using the database on Databaseserver 1 work like a charm.

The webapplication using the database on Databaseserver 2 isn't working. I get the login webpage, but i.e. the buttons to log in or quit aren't displayed, it just shows ??? on it.

I guess this is due to the webserver and the databaseserver being in different domains?

Is there a possibility to tell the webapplication to make a connection to the databaseserver with something like domainB\user?
