I've done a lot of research over the last couple of days, but wanted to get the hivemind's current take.
I'm going to be setting up a SQL Server cluster to replace an aging single server that acts as a critical backend component to our company's client facing systems. I will be using SIOS DataKeeper as the clustered storage provider as opposed to a SAN. The aging system uses a RAID50 array with DATA/LOG/TEMPDB all on partitions, but they're all on the same disk array. I have not ran into performance issues with this setup
This new system will be on dedicated servers, not VMs, and will be using direct attached SAS storage. (again, mirrored for failover with DataKeeper). This particular cluster will be remote at a colocation.
If I'm going to be using SSDs in a RAID10 setup for the data array, does it still make sense to split the logs and...
