Good day Chilies,
I hope someone can help me.
I am unable to connect to SQL Server Configuration Manager on a remote computer using Computer Management. In Computer Management, I do not get the SQL Server Configuration Manager section under Services and Applications. However, Remote access is enabled, I am able to connect to the Database Engine using SSMS and I can see all the SQL services running in Computer Management so I am certain that I am connecting to the right server. (so not facepalm yet, although still possible)
SQL Server 2019 Standard running on Windows Server 2019 Datacenter (core).
I have verified that SQLServerManager15.msc is on the remote SQL server.
What can I check to see why I am unable to connect to Configuration Manager?
Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.
