SQL Backups

We have several SQL servers, and they all at the momet backup to a single NAs device.

This is somthing we want to change......

We are looking at using two NAS devices (off site will come later)

We want to do a FULL backup to each device, on alternate days

We want to do LOG backups to both devices every hour

The Question Is

Say last nights full backup is corrupt, can I go back to a previous FULL backup andthen restore all of the LOG files to bring the system up to date - A collegue of mine is querying this as he says that the LOG backups after the failed full backup would only be restorable from the FULL backup that failed.

Is this correct, I think not but now have doubts.
