My understanding of differential backup is that after you do a full backup:
1 - Full backup
2 - Differential backup (all changes since full)
3 - Differential backup (all changes since full)
Doesn't this mean that the file size should increase as more differentials takes place? The second differential will always be larger in file size than the 1st, and 3rd one larger than 2nd etc.?
If you look at the screenshot I am assuming there is a problem with my SQL backup? The last part with the green line seems to be correct.
This is on a physical system - Server 2012 and SQL 2008.
