Ok,
I have been researching this for weeks and even read through different suggestions in other communities, but to no avail have I found a solution that is suitable.
The situation is that we have an inhouse application that we have created to keep track of (classified) in our office. The application pulls data from our SQL server (SQL Server Express) and allows employees to go all Willie Nillie in that database.
Everything works fine and dandy when they are in the office connected to the network via WiFi or Ethernet cable. (YaY).
The issue is that when they work from home by connecting to our VPN, the application gives a server connection error (16,57, &/or 67) when they try to pull information from it. When I disable ESET, everything works fine.
I have already added the application (which runs through Access Runtime) as an exception, and when the firewall is enabled on ESET, the application still gives those errors.
I am going bananuts over here. Help me Spiceworks Community...you're my only hope.
