I've recently been having some problems with my MSSQL 2014 Management Studio, i went to open it today and it had a message saying 'Cannot create the window'.
I've tried changing the directory permissions, and reinstalled .net framework, however it has not changed anything.
I've also tried to repair the 2014 install and it asks for the installation media, however when I specify the folder containing the installation media, it says '\\XXXX\XXXX' is not a valid installation folder', so how would i go about repairing it? Alternatively, has anyone had the 'Cannot create window' issue, and managed to fix it?
