SQL clear transaction log

I have a AG cluster which requires the recovery model be set to full and the logs are eating up the disk space. I have a maintenance plan for backing up the db and transaction logs. Now I need to clear the logs after every backup. How can I do this as part of the maintenance plan? I can't set the recovery model to simple as it's a AG cluster
