Hi Guys,
I have a customer that wants to migrate into the cloud. If they were to give me their .BAK files and I transfer the data onto their new cloud SQL servers and they then restore the databases. Could they then use SQL replication over an IP SEC tunnel so that the databases in the cloud would be consistent with what is in production and then they could just shut down the production servers and utilize the new cloud servers as production?
I am trying to avoid a guest to guest migration because I do not have the ability to reduce disk size in our cloud.
