We are planning on retiring our DELL PowerEdge R610 running MS SQL 2008R2. This is currently supporting our VMWare VirtualCenter Database. One of the ideas we are considering is moving to AWS RDS, but we have not gotten a straight answer--will AWS support a VirtualCenter database. We have 3 ESXi host and 70 running VMs plus another 80 powered off VMs (Retired servers and backups).
Has anyone done this or something similar?
We are open to suggestions.
