I have a SQL Reporting Server I inherited (from a contractor) and I am not very familiar with reporting services.
The setup is running on SQL 2014 and is working with one nagging issue I am fighting.
When originally set up the Reporting Service was only access from 2 subnets that are both in the same physical site. Now users are wanting to access from any of our 6 sites across the province. The sites are connected via VPN and the server itself can be reached over VPN from any site with now issues.
The Issue is that the Reporting Services only authenticate correctly if someone is physically in our main site where the server is located. If at any other site you can get to the reporting server web portal http://reportingservername/Reportsand the prompt come up for the user to enter credentials but even when valid credentials are entered...
