I am having an annoying issue where an FTP connection task in SSIS is intermittently failing with the following errors:

I have a SQL job which runs every hour and this is a task which executes very early on. It seems this job can go on for weeks without an issue then it will fail on this task a few times for a particular day.
The FTP task connects to a local server which hosts the FTP data folder but this local server hosts other sites and should never have connection issues.
Can anyone suggest good ways to trouble shoot this issue and possible track the connections made from SSIS to the FTP site? I cant see anything in the event viewer and the error messages from SSIS aren't very informative.
The FTP provider is crushFTP but this is the only connection issues we've experienced.
