Restore appears not to work.

I have been attempting to do a bare metal restore, created my boot disk, my proper backup (.ndf), ran through the steps in the wizard, and states that it has completed the backup, but when I do a restart of the node being restored, it cannot see an OS, and appears this restore does not work.... I have attempted this restore twice without success. I am restoring from a Dell PowerEdge 2950, included all Dell 2950 drivers needed while creating the boot disk, and restoring to another PowerEdge 2950, with all the same hardware/specs.
