Hi I am currently in a situation to start using an ERP application which basically stores data of current stock, CRM Module, Accounts Module etc. This is a client/server based system which requires to be installed on a server to act as a host for the system database. Server must be running Windows 2000 or any later version and SQL Express. Client PCs must be running Windows 7 or any later version.
I would like to have some options on the underneath requirements with minimal cost as much as possible
Requirements
- Allow internal company users to access the system using the client application installed on PCs via network.
- Allow external company users to access the system using the client application installed on PCs (via VPN).
- Integrate some of the Database data (ex stock) on the company website.
Cost and Security is my biggest concern...
