We have a small McAfee EPO server running SQL express on it for it's database.
We're needing to change the name on the server for reasons that doesn't pertain this question. Based off McAfee's documentation and forums I read, I don't have to worry too much about EPO syncing back up with it's clients as it will detect the change.
However the problem is the SQL database is on the same server unfortunately. So this causes issues (I already changed it, then quickly changed it back as I found out the SQL database did not like it).
So is there an easy way to change the server name for a SQL express database so it will recognize the change?
