Greetings. I have an SSIS package that has a very simple goal. Take data from a table on our AS400 and dump it into a remote SQL 2008 database. The ODBC connects to both databases and I can hit the "play" button for it to transfer my 27K rows. Package works - Check.
Problem starts when I try to schedule the job to run. I worked with DTS packages for a number of years, but this is the first SSIS I am trying to schedule... I've Googled and researched for the last few days and figured it was time to try to get help.
One method I tried was to use the SQL Server Agent. I get a bunch of different errors depending on who I am logged in as (windows authentication or sql auth). I've tried a number of iterations here, but it seems to all boil down to permissions. In any case, I talked to someone in our Canadian offices and they are using...
