SQL, Sharepoint, Authentication

This might not be a strict SQL question, but it's in there. Here we go.

Had a Sharepoint (SP) server with SQL running on it (Called SCAN). Moved SP to a new server (I'll shorten it to be called 11), created a new SQL server (SQL). Everything was good, we set up Alias's. SCAN has been offline for about a year, but was left in AD. (Wasn't me) But we deleted that entry in AD today. Now, SP is totally down. Even the Central Admin. ODBC connections to (SQL) fail too. The Intranet shows "Cannot connect to the configuration database."

Through a day of Googling, I can say there isn't a SPN record for the SQL service account we're using, it's also not a system account, but a Domain admin service account. I read that we need one, and that we don't. No idea there.

Anything connecting to SQL says this:

Description:

Unknown SQL Exception 0 occurred....
