I have this really strange issue with SQL Server 2008 R2 Cluster Services failing when moving resources between nodes!
The cluster has 2 nodes, Active/Passive. When moving a resource from one to another, the following services fail to start: SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER), SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER) and SQL Server Analysis Services (default). However; when go to each service and reenter the password, the services starts fine although that the it's the same password! as if the service can't retain the log in info.
The account that the 3 services are running with is a domain account and a member of the Local Administrators Group on each cluster node, and the password is set not to expire and user can't change password. What's more; the 3 service startup type is set to Manual on both nodes.
Any ideas?
