Hi,
i've just inheriated the job of looking after our SQL server (2012), after the previous guy just up and left. The server works fine but i am abit concerned about the backup strategy we have in place. The current backup strategy is a SQL script that backs up to an ISCSI box elsewhere on the network. There is only one database on this server which is for our MS NAV dynamics software, it currently stands at 303GB, I worked out that it'll take about a full working day to resore this to another server if the current one fails. Asd this is a core system in our company this needs to be up any working within at most half a day if anything was to happen to the server, I'm just looking for ideas in regards to what you guys would do if you were in my situation.
