I recently purchased a nice new shinyDell PowerEdge T630with some beefy specs:
- 2x Intel Xeon E2690 v3 2.6GHz, 12 Core/24 Threads (48 Threads...wh00t!)
- 4x 16GB 2133MT/s RDIMMs (64GB Total)
- 32x 600GB 15K RPM SAS HDD (They will be in a mixture of different RAIDs on a PERC H730)
- 1x QuadPort GB NIC
- Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter
The hardware was the easy part. Now for the tricky part (licensing...)
