So I have a maintenance plan that I use to run the nightly backups. Just a basic plan just doing the backups to local disk.
I also have a batch job that I manually run to move these backups to another server so they can live there and then be off sited. However when I try to add the batch job to the maintenance plan, it doesnt all work. The backups still run but nothing gets moved.. I think the batch job still runs but it moves too fast or is not waiting for all the backups to be finished before running and then never works right.
So I'm wondering how to get this step in my plan to wait it out for all the backups to finish then kick off the batch job to move the backup files.
Any ideas on what I can look for or add to this so this will work?
