Client's ODBC Connection lost after enabling iSCSI NIC on SQL Server

Hello there,

I have an SQL 2008 Server running on Windows Server 2008; Dual Port Broadcom NIC configured as Team on the 172.16.16.x LAN. All clients access data from this server via ODBC without any problems.

We purchased a NAS system (Nimble) and want to move the database to it in order to benefit from the NAS' performance. I added an additional 2-Port Broadcom NIC and configured each port with static IPs on the NAS' subnet (172.16.32.x).

The problem happens when I enable either port on the 32.x subnet. As soon as either NIC goes live, everyone loses connection to the server. Currently, both ports have to be disabled to avoid problems which has not allowed me to move forward with the NAS deployment.

Any ideas will be truly appreciated. :)
