Hello all,
We are going through the process of setting up the Azure Information Protection Scanner to scan through our share drives to apply labels based on sensitivity levels. We have gone through the setup of the SQL server, installed the scanner, added the service account, etc. We can see the node in Azure, but it is showing a database error.
When we log into the server and run the Get-AIPScannerStatus command in powershell, we get back an error stating "Failed to access scanner database. Verify the database is up and running and can be accessed by the scanner service account and by the currently logged in user that executes the command."
The logged in user and service account both have permissions to access the database and the server is up and running as well as the scanner service.
Anyone run into this before?
