MS SQL Server Failover Clustering

Hi i have windows server 2008 r2, company won't allow to upgrade it

i have two windows 2008 r2 with MS SQL 2014 Nodes in Windows Failover Clustering

my goal is to have it as Node01 Up and contain only the services including the Folder Path for Data, Log and Backup

But if Node01 fails, the goal is to pass automatically the services to Node02 which would be windows server 2008 r2 with SQL Server 2014 as well

i know i can accomplish this with SQL Failover Clustering Feature but

is it possible for them to have the same Path location, so that Node01 will have identical database, logs and backup with Node02 whenever they make add, delete and modify?

Is there other way around this?
i know AlwaysOn feature but it does make the other read only and the other R/W DB Server

My goal is to failover to the other with same capability of R/W to database......
