SQL Cluster over iSQSI SAN

Hi All,

I am little bit newbie into SQL clustering, they have asked me to migrate our single SQL node into two node failover SQL cluster..

My main concern is from storage size, the DB is not that big and the required capacity is max 2TB, I am also in the mid range from IOPS wise, i will consider SAS, 15 K RPM Disks.

Can somebody advise me whether to go to a direct attached storage scenario (with replication to the slave) or to buy a humble iSCSi SAN SOlution like IBM DS3512.

I have read that NAS is not suitable for SQL clustering, also when using iSCSI once have to be cautious. Can you please advise!! Thanks,
