I dont have a fault, more a query....
I have SQL 2014 on a svr2012r2 server...
I have MS Navision 2018 database ( a test database, and another non-nav database)
Database average size is 14gb (25 database users - low key access, etc)
The log file is average 9gb
I use the Ola Hallengren method for backup.
The Backup file created each day is 3GB, with log files for the day totalling less than 1gb...
Looking at the LIVE database today (and my test database which is around 2weeks old copy of the LIVE) , i can see my Database file is 14GB....
But my Log file is pushing nearly 24GB !!!
I not looked at the server for around 10 days, so only just noticed the log file being this big.
I dont have space issues, i dont have performance issues, i am just puzzled on the Log space size!
I ran the query " DBCC SQLPERF ('LOGSPACE') , and it shows the...
