so i've got a bit of a weird issue. i have a newly built server hosted on an AWS EC2 instance, when i'm connected locally all seems well...
However from my local machine (on a seperate subnet with all access between the two allowed - as far as i know) i can connect to the server using SSMS if i type the server name, i cannot browse for the server. When i try to use SSMS and select "reporting services" as the option to connect to it then put the server name (also tried with the SSRS instance name on it too) it doesn't connect.
the same for the "reporting services configuration manager" i type the server name and click find and it just tells me it cannot connect. I can browse the SSRS server through the web browser just fine.
