Is it possible to use a separate interface and network for SQL client traffic with the NIC not configured with "register this connection in DNS" checked? The listener address is in this subnet and separate interface in the box is registered with DNS for RDP and other general comms. Not ticking the registration box results in the Listener address not publishing in DNS correctly. This is a multi subnet OA installation and duplicated across Data centres. Leaving the Register box unticked on the Client Access NICS results in a single DNS record for the listener being published BUT it's the IP of the Secondary end published and not the Primary. ARGHH!
