I was installing a couple of PCs for a small manufacturing customer on Friday. They have a server with a main SQL database for the manufacturing side of the business. They also have a small SQL Express database for their Payroll software on the same server. When I installed a new PC, we needed to connect the PC to the Payroll software and I called the payroll software tech support for help. It all went sideways and the database disappeared. I'm guessing it's still there, but neither I nor they are SQL experts. I don't want to take the time to become an expert, so I'm looking for recommendationsfor a freelance consultant who can remote into the server and the PC and get things straightened out. We do have a full backup of the server, which we could restore, but that still leaves us with the original issue. I really need that expert.
