Hi.
I am at my wits end. I don't know where to go next or what to do!.
My SQL server is just so slow at integrating transactions from one DB to another.
My setup is as follows:
1. 2 x PowerEdge R740 servers. 1 for applications and 1 for SQL server itself.
2. Both connected on 10G switch. Ping 1ms.
3. SQL server set up as 4 different RAID10 partitions - 1 for OS, 1 for MDF, 1 for LDF, 1 for TempDB - ALL SSDS!
4. Both server 380GB RAM.
These servers should be FLYING. I'm trying to integrate POS data from the Point of Sale databse (400GB) into the ERP Database (0650GB) through the Integration module of the POS built through the SAGE API. (Sage ACCPAC 300).
When integrating consolidated sales items, it does one consolidated invoice every 60 seconds. Sales orders run at about 1 every two seconds.
On both servers, 0.00 disk queue length, CPU stays...
