Dear all,
We have Microsoft SQL Server on child domain A. We would like to move it to the child domain B. SQL authentication mode is "SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode".
Current: SQL-SERVER-01.domainA.com
After moving: SQL-SERVER-01.domainB.com
At the moment we login to the SQL Mgmt Studio with Windows Authentication using DomainA\Administrator account. Once moved will it let us login using the DomainB\Administrator account ? And will this DomainB\Administrator have same privilege as the DomainA\Administrator account ?
Will there be any impact when SQL server is moved to the new domain ?
