I need someone smarter than me when it comes to databases and database performance.
Currently our ERP is a web based application and ourIIS server is one one machine while the SQL server is a different PC. We have been experiencing slowness issues that I have been trying to resolve. I recently downloaded SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer to assist in this troubleshooting. It looks like based off this tool that much of the wait time is based off ASYNC_NETWORK_IO. Is anybody familiar with how to correct this? I don't believe its due to latency between our IIS server and the SQL server since that backplane is 1gig.
