We have a Workgroup that we will move to a Domain. But first as part of the prep, we would like to have a Workgroup Server (Currently Hosting a SQL Db) added to the new domain.
What pitfalls, or problems that may show up?
All workstations use a common login to the PC (Local Account) and common credentials to access the DB share folder on the server.
We are hoping the local creds on the server and pc will not be impacted.
Therefore, once the server is added to the domain all workstations should be able to access the DB...
