SSRS Over HTTPS

I have SSRS 2017 set up on a new server. I was able to find instructions on how to add a wildcard certificate to the server and configure SSRS to answer to HTTPS on port 443.

My wildcard certificate is *.domain.com and my server name is vm-database.

I am able to now go to https://vm-database.domain.com/reports, enter my domain credentials and get in.

However, I cannot figure out how to do two more things.

1. If I just go to http://vm-database/reportsit does not ask me to authenticate, it uses the domain credentials. But if I go to https://vm-database.domain.com/reportsit does ask.

2. Is there a way to redirect a request from HTTP to HTTPS? So my users can just type in vm-database.domain.com and get to the secure site?
