Sorry for all the questions / changes. I converted my Access database to SQL using "SQL Server Migration Assistant for Access", on the VM that hosts the SQL database and everything went fine (my local machine didn't have the resources to do it)
Post conversion I copied the converted database to my personal machine, opened it and saw the linked tables (globe icons) and all looks well. However, when I attempt to open one of those tables I get this error:
ODBC -- connections to 'SQL Server Native client RDA 11.0DL-VMSQL-1\SQLEXPRESS' failed. Pushing okay, displays "Microsoft Access can't open the table in Datasheet view".
I have verified my computer can reach the SQL server, and I can create succesful ODBC connections (even tried making one with SQL Client 11, but that doesn't work. Any thoughts?
