SQL Backup agent started to get errors on one of the databases on the server. After running a successful Full, then the differentials fails with this specific error.
Component '\server-name\database' from writer 'SqlServerWriter' is excluded from backup, because it has an excluded descendent: 'master')
Cant seem to narrow down what is causing this all writers are fine. Not sure where SQL VSS is getting this exclusion from.
The Database was backing up fine and one day this started to happen. The only changes that were made was a copy only full was performed on that database and a separate instance was created with the same database name. We renamed the database since to exclude that causing the problem.
Anyone know how to remove this exclusion?
