A bit of background, we are currently running a database system that provides accounting, payroll, HSE and HR services and being mightily gouged for it. The system runs at a hosted management company that also provides Citrix and database management services.
The MD is pissed that he feels he has being paying a bucket load of money for a system that staff all whinge about. One of the accountants has suggested that we change to another system and BTW bring it all back in house. All fine for him, he doesn't have to make it work. Of course everyone wants it done on the cheap. My problem is that I know how easily this can all turn to shit.
