We have a Windows 2008 R2 server with SQL 2008, we cannot connect remotely to the database (correctly). This started after a reboot. it has 4 NICS 1 is static IP and 3 WERE DHCP. Now all of them are static. The only way to connect to it remotely is via only 1 of the IP addresses. The name and the 3 other IP's don't work. DNS looks fine. Pinging the name gives one of the other addresses. Ping -a the working IP gives the name. Other SQL servers work fine. Anyone?
