SQL Login Recovery

Our SQL 2008 server suffered a hardware failure.  It appears to be a faulty motherboard but the replacement won't be out for a day or two.  We also have supposedly good backups of all the databases via Retrospect.  I built up another server and was able to restore each database.  Unfortunately I was unable to restore the master database so none of my SQL logins came over.

My next idea was to copy everything from the DATA folder on the old server to the new server.  SQL fails to start up completely complaining about corruption in the master and msdb databases which I can't seem to fix.  Using Retrospect I was able to restore these databases to alternate names but running dbcc checkdb on them always produces errors.  This makes me wonder if they have had some sort of corruption for a long time but the server was able to work past them.

Is there a way I can extract the logins from the alternately named master database so I can get things back up and running without having to wait for the old server to be repaired?
