Got a good one for you.BTW, i'm an accidental DBA so that's why I'm reaching out to you. Here's the breakdown of what we have and what we are trying to do:
Intranet site that points to SQL DB
SQL DB is an old SQL Version 7 that resides on a Server 2K (I know, don't shoot me!)
2K Server was forcibly shut down which caused the db to go into suspect mode
Restored from backup however the backup was data from a year ago.
We found a newer version of the .mdf from a couple of days ago that was copied to our CoLo. We did not find an .ldf though
Does anyone have any ideas how we can use the newer .mdf file so that the data is only a day old and not a year?
