Good afternoon SQL heads,
Got a newb question for yall. We got an application developed by a local college as part of their senior project. Its to scan custom bar codes and enter that barcodes related information into a Microsoft SQL Server. The app is wysiwyg so support has already graduated.
After installing the app and launching it any user account with admin privledges can connect to the DB. Same machine log out and in with a standard user account gets "error connecting to database." I obviously cant have everyone running around as a local admin. Is there some permission setting im missing that allows normal acs to connect?
Its not critical to get it running. Id just like to give the program a fair shake before moving on.
