I'm trying to find an answer on how many vCPU's you are licensed to use when using the Server+CAL Licensing model for SQL Server 2017 Std. I know the per-core model - vCPU's and Core licenses need to match - but i cant find how many vCPU's i'm permitted/limited to when using the Server+CAL model. I know there's a 24-core limit for SQL Standard per this article, so does that mean i can assign 24-cores to the VM using the Server+CAL method?
