Hey folks,
After keeping the number of VLFs under control for 4-5 months, my production DB slowly accumulated and reached 1,400 VLFs
I want to reduce VLF count again possibly under 500 .
Based from screenshot, what log initial size and autogrowth settings would you recommend?
P.S. will backup the tlog twice and re-expand it. full back up before and after . i understand this could break the log chain, but i can live with that and refresh my log shipping.
