We have an application running on Windows Server 2012 R2 STD with SQL Server 2014 STD.
RAM: 12GB
Disk Space: 480GB free space
DB Size: 4.8GB
Log File: 2.7GB
Last installed SQL Update was KB4019093 Security Update for SQL Server 2014 SP2 GDR
Everything was working fine for last 4 months and now we have this instance taking HIGH cpu and memory. Its taking 60% CPU and 50% RAM even when no users are connected.
How do we troubleshoot on whats using the CPU and normalize this high usage?
We have been using Sophos as our AV. Its been there since we installed the server. Nothing has changed.
We have other applications using other instances and they work just fine.
