I woke up this morning with 3 databases showing corruption on a major server. TempDB had one of it's files with an error, ReportServerTempDB had an error, and one of our application databases had an error. They all seemed to be very similar and are posted below.
DBCC CHECKDB could not even complete on any of these databases; we ended up having to restore our application database from the previous day. The ReportServerTempDB was brought in from our dev mirror system, and to fix tempdb, we simply shutdown the instance, deleted the bad file, and restarted SQL Server.
We are currently stumped as to what could have caused all of these databases to suddenly experience unrepairable corruption. Has anyone seen something like this before? Any ideas as to what could have possible caused this? We checked our SAN logs and there aren't any disk...
