SQL Server Service stops running after system restart.

Okay, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and has a solution... A couple months ago we started noticing some of our SQL dependent apps would stop working. We found out that the server had restarted (Windows Updates) and that the SQL server service had stopped. Restarting the service is a no go it throws a log on error. What I've been doing to get the service running is this... whether it's a local account or an NT service account I have to kick that account and select "Local System Account" and then I can get the service to start. Then I stop the service right away and replace the log on with the account that wouldn't start and then it starts. I have to do this on all our SQL servers if they've restarted cause the service just doesn't come restart. Any Ideas?
