Blank output from SQL (express) command

Helo,

I have sql express running on a windows 10 32 bit os.

I have been following the instruction on disk/database growth on

but the last section of code (How to Capture Available Disk Space ) returns Columns, but with no data.

I have cut-n-pasted the code into a SQL query and run it , I get no errors, just no output.

can someone point me in the direction of what i am doing wrong ?
