Hi, I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the issue or future configuration that im trying to accomplish. Right now we have an SQL express with IIS 6 on Hyper V and its been a disaster the last year. Users are complaining about slow requests lag,etc. I had the network certified by another company which they came to the conclusion that it was the issue with the IIS. I also figured that running SQL on Hyper V is not the best thing to do, so next week were buying a Dell T130 Tower Server with 16gigs and to be configured with RAID 10 1tb each disk. I have been reading few sites about performance and most of them recommended partitioning the disk into 3, (C drive, D drive (sql database), E drive (Logs).
