Let me first apologize for my lack of knowledge... but we all start somewhere :)
We have a SQL server running some third party software. All staff members RCD into the software and use it for sales/every day business.
We want to integrate our new retail website with the software, so we can create scripts to pickup the information and display it on our new website.
Apparently, we need MS licenses to do this. 1x licence per each core, and we have 15 cores.. grand total of over 16k!
Can anybody shed any light on this?
One thing I don't understand... is that we are already integrating! We have scripts that communicate with the software and display stock levels on our website, so why didn't we need the licences for that?!
